It's been awhile..

Hi everyone.

It has been a long time since my last post. I have a lot going on and sometimes it's hard to find the time and inspiration to write a post.

Things have been slow with my progress... honestly I haven't had the motivation to do much for a couple of months now.... BUT  my hubby and I have signed up for a 100 day challenge at a local (smaller scale) gym close to our home which I am SUPER excited about! (hubby is terrified lol). It officially starts on September 7th but we will be working on habit changes before then. I would like to have my caffeine intake down before I start and have my cupboards cleaned out and organized.

Hide that family photo!

Let me start by saying this... I am ALWAYS the one behind the camera. One reason is that I seem to be the only one thinking of taking photos (lol) and also because I don't want to BE in the photos. I hate how I look right now so I am more than happy to take photo's of my kids and my hubby with the kids but I try to avoid photo's of me with them at all costs.. unless they are "selfies" and I can check the photo and take another one if I don't like the original.

This is the only family photo from our trip.. if I didn't have a change of heart.. it would have been deleted!

 

I know it is really important to cherish these moments, and keep these photographs even if I don't like how my body is. It is hard though, as someone with major body image issues.. I am working on it, one day I won't let it consume me.

It starts

In just 6 days I will be embarking on the last year of my 20's. I refuse to start my 30th year a chunky, un happy and un healthy person. This blog will showcase my triumphs and pitfalls on my journey to a happier and healthier me.  I can do it... I will do it... let's go!
